Name the dummy!

Name the grappling dummy competition
Not a fundraiser – just a bit of fun. For $2 see Anne or myself and give us your suggestion for the dummy’s name. Coaches will decide the winner at the end of June. Winner takes the proceeds in the form of a gift voucher (remember to nominate your favourite shop)

Do you have Gi that are no longer in use/don’t fit?
Help new judoka get started. The club is always looking for donations of used gi (suits) that can be used by people trying judo for the first time and as spares in case members forget their own. They take up a lot of room in your cupboard so put them in the club cupboard.

Bring a friend – Get a month free
Your judo club could do with a few more members. We have a great club at the moment and really want more members just like you. So the committee has decided to reward members with a month of mat fees when you bring a friend who stays in the club after the first three free sessions and purchases a start-up pack.

Exciting news

The HUJC has been nominated by Woolworths Sandy Bay as one of their local sporting teams for the month. This puts us in with a chance to score $500 for the club. Please shop at Woolies Sandy Bay for the month of June and ask for tokens each time you shop. Then make sure you put the tokens in our spot before you leave. It’s only on at Woolies Sandy Bay and only for the month of June. Good luck HUJC.
