Sensei Bruce’s farewell dinner

All the juniors have given Sensei Bruce a wonderful surprise celebration on Wednesday night.  This Friday 5th July, we will head to Solo Pizza on King St Sandy Bay for a dinner at 8pm as the final goodbye and thank you to Sensei Bruce.  Thanks to all those who helped out with Wednesday night’s celebration and gift donations.  It was a lovely send-off for the clubs longest standing member and chief sensei.  Email Dan (daniel.bernal@utas.edu.au) ASAP to put your name down please – reservation is for 15 people and has to be confirmed by tomorrow arvo.

One more week for $500 competition

As some of you know, for the month of June we could shop at Woolworths Sandy Bay and donate green coins to the HUJC’s collection bin with the chance to win $500 for the club.  A big thanks to those who have contributed so far.  For those who haven’t made it in yet, the collection bin is going to be there for one more week!
