There is an open judo competition on the 6th April in Devonport at the Forbes Street Recreation Centre. Weigh in times are from 9.15am. The cost is $10 for juniors and $15 for seniors.
Food and refreshments will be available.

Great to see so many new faces on the mat in the past few
weeks. Thanks to all the senior grades
for helping out at training and thanks to the parents and helpers who have
given their time to organise and run our past few Univeristy Expo days.
For the newbies, I have a challenge for you. Consider the
following statistic: “5 out of 10 who join a judo club will drop out within the
first 6 months."
My challenge to you is to break these statistics! Judo is a
challenging sport. You are succeeding by simply turning up to training. The
rest will come with time.
